&it all falls down
When you do everything you can, sometimes more than you can believe or ever thought you could, you’ve just got to walk away knowing that you did your part…knowing that you put up a good fight. Fight for what you love, yess, but sometimes, there’s only so much you can do to control a situation.
And now I get that.

I don’t think I could ever be with someone that doesn’t know what they want in life.
I mean, it’s fine to just want to just “go with the flow” and all … but will that really get you somewhere? I want someone that’s driven, determined, and motivated. I want them to inspire me; I want them to be along my side when we’re both trying to achieve our goals. I want to be able to learn from them, and I want someone that would be willing to learn from me as well.
I will never let someone like that hold me down, and hold me back from what I want in life.

DAMN, this whole waiting thing ain’t fun at all. &i always thought i would never trade free time for work time but the true feeling of summertime just hit my radar—and IDK if im really feelin’ it.
COUNTDOWN TO COLLEGE STARTS NOW: I’m soooo ready for a new chapter but I really don’t want to leave everything behind soo quickly. Yess, I know SoCal is hella DOPE but TheBay is my home—I’ve established comfort, friendships, relationships and created many memories here and although I’ll be back in no time, IDK if I’m truly mentally ready to start fresh.
But it is what it is—gotta roll with the punches, take life day by day and move on.

day 06- Favorite super hero and why
HMM, well growing up I was never one of those kids who watched like Batman or superhero-like shows. BUT, i must say Superwoman is most definitely THE SHIT! She’s been holdin’ it down for the ladies in the superhero world and she deserves mad props for that. &her outfit/costume…HELLA CUTE! Wonder how often she had to shave her legs to pull off a get-up like that? :D

day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have
hmmm, so i do this thing that Erika NEVER fails to point out to me! BUT, when im focusing on something, like hella closely—whether it be a computer screen or in class—WHATEVER, i look down and tuck my chin to my neck and kinda squint my eyes. it’s annoying because now that Erika pointed it out, I’m always aware of it and I can’t shake the habit =/ thanks bitch! =P lol jk

SOOO, i took a much needed break from Tumblr. I’m BACK though, was going through some stuff and just needed some time away..some “me time,” ya know?
Everyone needs that sometimes &I’ve learned that dealing with things face-to-face sometimes may be the absolute HARDEST thing to do BUT it may just be the best thing to do for the situation at hand. Dealing with those unspoken feelings head on and voicing them to the opposite view helps reveal understanding for both parts.
&I’m happy to say that I’m content with how things are- for now :)
